Palmyra Temple

The next stop was the Palmyra Temple. We didn't have time to do a session, and you have to bring your own clothes, so we will have to do this when I go back. The temple is so beautiful on the outside, and the windows are the most beautiful stained glass, it was hard to capture them on my camera. I would love to see the inside of this temple next time. The grounds are so beautifully maintained. The lady at the Joseph Smith homestead told us that when President Hinckley came to dedicate this temple there was no window on the side of the temple which faces the Sacred Grove, and he wanted one to be put there so that the visitors could look from the inside to see where it all started. There was a window promptly added to that side. So awesome!
